Abstract is a word offering minimal articulative specificity. At one point I used it to define images, primarily those considered technical mistakes resulting in something visually "cool". Now I'm working with greater intention - mistakes have transformed into powerful tools.

Inside Reflections & Shadows
My Mathematics students have to create a book chapter with 2 Dimensional photographs that they've shot. It's my way of forcing an introduction to seeing the world mathematically.
If you can hold it in your hand, it has 3 dimensions. Can you hold a shadow? Can you pick up a reflection and move it?
It's my time to practice what I've been preaching, it's a discipline.
